You get personal access to your survey results and the ability to compare your responses with your company average.

Incentives

By finishing stage 1, within 24 hours you will have a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate as a reward for completing the survey.

In stage 2, you get a $100 Amazon gift certificate just for permission to observe the mail server (and you don’t have to do anything!). Next, you will automatically be registrered in a drawing of survey participants that remain in the study through the 2nd stage. A randomly selected winner in each firm will receive $1,000 with odds of winning roughly between 1/20 and 1/60. The $1000 is only available to people who stay in for stage 2.

Free Software

Stage 2 software is a great utility to evaluate communication patterns in your workflow. This software helps you visualize your contact network. It shows, for example, how many people try to reach you, how much traffic they generate, and where they're located. It will also animate these changes over time.

Communication Workflow Data

After stage 2, we will provide valuable analysis about how you and your company communicate work related information. All information is kept secure and private to each participant as reviewed by the Human Subjects Board at the University of Michigan.

The university Human Subjects board has reviewed this research for ethical conduct, risk, and invasion of privacy and found that it presents little or no danger beyond that already present in the workplace.
